I designed ~everything in Superthread

Superthread is a project management app like Linear, Trello, Jira, ClickUp, or Height. I designed or redesigned nearly every part of the app. Here are a few highlights.

Full app redesign

Early on at Superthread I redesigned the entire interface. I changed the style across the whole app, to what you see in the screenshots below. Unfortunately I don’t have good screenshots of the “before” style.

Board layout

Over the years I redesigned nearly every element in this board layout. A ship-of-Theseus redesign.

Calendar layout

We wanted people to be able to view their tasks on a calendar.

Dark mode

The app originally didn’t have a dark mode. I designed one.

Card sidebar

The card sidebar didn’t use horizontal space well. The new design is full of trade-offs, but is cleaner and more informative.

Small component changes

Here’s a collection of smaller components I designed or redesigned.

First website redesign

I designed and built a new website in Webflow.

Second website redesign

A year after the first website redesign, I did it again.

Website content refresh

When we added AI-enhanced notes to the app, I designed a new website with more focused content.
