Text on a path

How to use it

Place text along a shape or path.

When to use it

Shapes like circles are often overlaid on an interface to highlight or stamp something. With this technique, you can increase the information in that shape by having text follow its outline.

What to watch out for

Text that isn't in a horizontal line like normal is harder to read, and most visitors probably won’t waste much energy on it, so you shouldn’t show important text in this way.
