Change the text size of each character in a string of characters.
As shown in the example below, you can use this to communicate a concept like “getting louder”, or if you reverse the size change, “getting quieter”. If you vary the text size you can communicate concepts like “whacky”.
If the size change is too subtle it’s hard to notice. In the example below, each letter increases by 4 points. Anything less and the change was harder to notice.
