Against an inside edge of a container, add some texture. This could be a pattern, as in the example below.
This is similar to an inside shadow. It adds a little depth. Mainly it makes the container more visually interesting without much clutter. Similar to a watermark.
Don’t make the decoration too obvious or it will distract from the content.
