Stepped width stroke

How to use it

Increase or decrease the width of a line in steps.

When to use it

This stroke can almost act like an arrow, because it creates a sense of movement towards the wider end. Other than that, it’s mainly a visual interest thing.

What to watch out for

If the change in width is too large from step to step, the stroke might not look like it’s all the same line. Unless you’re sure, it’s best to stepped changes subtle.
