Put a border around a shape but make it look like it was drawn by hand.
This helps reinforce a brand/association (for example, childishness, approachability, etc.). It also adds visual interest because it’s more varied than a straight border.
Care and attention will be needed to make sure that these hand drawn styles still look professional, especially because they’re rougher than what design software will naturally produce.
