Simplicity

Well-crafted artefacts benefit from simplicity. If there’s less of something, there’s more chance to focus on what remains.

Especially if the artefact is made by hand, technically complicated artefacts can be harder to make.

This simplicity might mean that there is less ornament or elaborate finishing techniques used to make the artefact.

But this simplicity also gives the artefact an honest quality. Easier to understand, easier to approach.
